Joy on both sides
A happy kitchen makes better food. We look after the people who cook and serve as much as the people they serve — the warmth you taste is real.
Our Story
Founded by Sapthagiri M — the Dancing Chef — on one simple promise: we don't just cook food, we perform it.

Sapthagiri M
The Dancing Chef
The Dancing Chef
Behind the name is Sapthagiri M — the chef who cannot stand still when the spices hit the pan. In Coimbatore, they call him the Dancing Chef, and the nickname stuck for a reason: every biryani that leaves this kitchen carries a little of that rhythm.
It is why the tagline reads “Flavours that Dance on your Tongue.” We layer the rice, seal the dum, and time every pot like a piece of theatre — because a plate should arrive warm, generous, and a little bit alive.
We don't just cook food. We perform it.
Vanakkam
Hospitality here starts with a Vanakkam — hands together, a genuine welcome, no airs. Whether you have walked in for a solo plate of biryani or booked the room for a celebration, you are treated the same: warmly, and like family.
A happy kitchen makes better food. We look after the people who cook and serve as much as the people they serve — the warmth you taste is real.
Big pots, generous plates, flavours built for a table full of people. This is food for gathering, not for eating alone in a hurry.
Rooted in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu — cooking biryani, Indian, Chinese, Arabian, tandoori and BBQ for our own neighbourhood first.
Our Promise to You
Every dish at Dancing Chef Biriyani is prepared 100% Halal — a standard we hold without exception, so the whole community can share our table with confidence.

In His Own Words
We want to tell this part properly — in Sapthagiri M's own voice, not ours. His first-person account of how the first pot was sealed is on its way.
